Students from the University of Saint Thomas d’Aquin in Ouagadougou discover the Court of Justice

The Court of Justice hosted law students from Saint Thomas d’Aquin University, accompanied by their Professor of Community Law, on June 4, 2025, at its headquarters in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. An information session was held for them. It was chaired by Judge Abdourahmane Gayakoye Sabi and the Advocate General at the Court, Kalifa Bague. They were assisted by Librarian Narcisse Hounyo.

During the meeting, a presentation was given on the Court’s mission, operations, and jurisdiction, as well as the institutional framework of the WAEMU.

The discussions provided the visitors with essential information on the Court of Justice and the functioning of the Union.
