The UEMOA Court of Justice is training approximately 80 judicial auditors from the Judicial Professions Training School (EFPJ) on UEMOA community law from September 24 to 26, 2024, in Abomey-Calavi, Benin.
The opening ceremony featured speeches by Mrs. Bernadette CODJOVI HOUNDEKANDJI, Director General of EFPJ, and Mr. Mahawa Sémou DIOUF, President of the UEMOA Court of Justice, in the presence of Mr. Kalifa BAGUE, Advocate General, and Judges Mr. Jules Chabi MOUKA and Mr. Gayakoye SABI ABDOURAHAMANE.
The topics to be addressed during this session will include the legal and institutional framework of UEMOA, the competencies and procedures of the UEMOA Court of Justice, and the mechanism of the preliminary ruling in UEMOA community law.
EFPJ is a public institution with a social and scientific nature, placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice and Legislation. It was established by Decree No. 2018-178 of May 16, 2018.
