The Court of Justice trains judges of the Supreme Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Guinea Bissau in UEMOA Community Law

The Court of Justice is organizing a training seminar on UEMOA community law for judges of the Supreme Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Guinea-Bissau in Bissau.

The opening ceremony was chaired on Tuesday, November 6, 2023, by Mr. Mahawa Sémou DIOUF, President of the UEMOA Court of Justice, assisted by Mr. Kalifa BAGUE, Advocate General, and Mr. Ladislau Clemente Fernando EMBASSA, Judge at the Court.

During the seminar, several topics will be covered, including the legal and institutional framework of UEMOA, the competencies of the Court of Justice, the procedures before it, and the preliminary ruling process.

The seminar will conclude on Friday, November 10, 2023.
